Appearing to have written '+5' beside the number 10, some claimed Pogba was attempting something similar to that of Ivan Zamorano - the former Inter player who lost his number nine jersey to the Brazilian Ronaldo and added a + symbol between the digits of his new number 18, equalling his old shirt number.
Some even doubted whether Pogba was responsible at all.

Pogba was responsible, but in actual fact, he'd not written '+5', but '75'. The number was a tribute to Pele, another man that wore the number 10 on his shirt, who recently celebrated his 75th birthday.
