WATCH: Neymar makes young pitch-invader’s day as PSG get back to winning ways

Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from their Champions League defeat at Anfield with a win at Rennes on Sunday

Neymar couldn't help PSG avoid defeat at Anfield last week

Despite falling behind to Adrien Rabiot’s own goal just after ten minutes, goals from Angel Di Maria, Thomas Meunier and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (yes, him), saw them take a 3-1 win.

Neymar didn’t finish the game on the field, manager Thomas Tuchel bringing him off in stoppage time to run down the clock.

As the Brazilian made his way towards the PSG bench, he was approached by a young pitch-invader.

The clearly emotional youngster clings to Neymar, who gestures to several approaching stewards that there’s no need for them to intervene.

Then, the former Barcelona forward removes his shirt, gifting it to the boy before he is ushered away.

PSG have won all six of their Ligue 1 fixtures so far this season, opening up a five-point gap over second placed Lille in the process. Already, even at this early stage in the season, it’s hard to see anyone stopping them from retaining the title they won back from Monaco last season.

Their next game comes at home to Stade Reims, followed by a trip to Patrick Vieira’s Nice. Their first home game in this season’s Champions League follows this, when they welcome Red Star Belgrade to the French capital.
