Early in the second-half, he added his second from the penalty spot, putting Liverpool in a commanding position in the game.
Liverpool had beaten Paris Saint-Germain in their opening game of this season's Champions League but lost to a last-gasp Lorenzo Insigne goal away at Napoli in game two.
