In doing so, it's very likely that the Chelsea manager will learn a few lessons from the penalty shoot-out disappointment, but while defeat to Arsene Wenger's men at Wembley won't cause too much cause for concern, the Chelsea coach might be slightly agitated after seeing this footage of Michy Batshuayi laughing during the shoot-out.
After joining from Marseille last season, the Belgian striker scored five goals in 20 Premier League appearances but with Diego Costa looking increasingly likely to leave the club, this season is a big one for Batshuayi at Stamford Bridge.
Regarding the match, the striker started the Community Shield against Arsenal before making way for new signing Alvaro Morata after 74 minutes. After Sead Kolasinac cancelled out Victor Moses' opener, Arsenal failed to capitalise on Pedro's red card as the game went to penalties.
The ABBA system may have been on everyone's lips before the shoot-out began, but two decisive misses from Morata and Courtois were the main issue of discussion at the end of the spot-kicks.
However, during the proceedings, the TV cameras spotted Batshuayi laughing during the shoot-out.
Since the footage went viral, various people have tried to force the narrative and say that the Belgian striker was laughing at Morata after the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker missed from 12 yards.
Granted, they're 'rivals' for the starting spot, but we doubt that's the reason.
Whether it's tension, Courtois' penalty or some other funny reason, we imagine that Antonio Conte will have a few words for Batshuayi in training after seeing this footage.
