Haaland ruffled a few feathers yesterday

Erling Haaland was up to mischief in Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal yesterday as tensions ran high between the current champions and their challengers.

City equalised in the 90+8 minute and following the conclusion of the match, temperatures boiled over.

As the whistle blew and the two sides attempted to show some sportsmanship, Haaland couldn’t help but have a dig at Arsenal manager Arteta.

In the footage posted by Sky Sports this morning, Haaland said: “Stay humble eh, stay humble eh.”

Arteta stopped in his tracks and just glared at the Norwegian. Gabriel Jesus confronted City’s talisman asking him why he was talking before Haaland snapped back saying: “Get the **** away, you ******* clown.”

After City’s second goal went in, Haaland picked the ball out the back of the net and threw it at the back of Jesus’ head before barging into Thomas Partey.

The City striker then got involved in an argument with Myles Lewis-Skelly who got booked 25 minutes before making his debut.

Haaland looked at the teenager with Gary Neville commenting: “Haaland’s eyes when looking at Lewis-Skelley, it was almost like he was gonna eat him.”

The city star appeared to mouth at the 17-year-old, ‘Who the f*** are you?’

Ilkay Gundogan then got involved, pushing the pair apart as Ben White and Jakub Kiwior also piled in.

Inside the opening ten minutes, Haaland levelled Cristiano Ronaldo’s feat for the number of games it took to reach a century for a club after scoring the opener.

The Portuguese achieved the feat at Real Madrid.

Fans knew it was going to be a tense encounter after Rodri went down after a run in with Kai Havertz in the first five seconds.

VAR looked but couldn’t find anything wrong with the coming together.

Just before half-time with Arsenal 2-1 up, Leandro Trossard was sent off after a second yellow card for kicking the ball away while several City players went into the referee’s book for their complaints throughout the game.
