Many fans and pundits alike have been laying into Brendan Rodgers since the announcement of his sacking by Liverpool on Sunday.
However he has at least one supporter who hasn't deserted him in the shape of former Anfield favourite Steve McManaman. Speaking on BT Sport, he was adamant that Rodgers wasn't given enough time.
McManaman blames the media for 'ramping up' the pressure on the now ex-manager. Whilst admitting that recent performances have been poor, he nevertheless feels it is a knee-jerk decision.
Jurgen Klopp is one of the favourites to replace Rodgers, but McManaman isn't convinced, pointing out that he "didn't have a magnificent season last year, but everyone suddenly thinks is going to be a magnificent manager..."
Judge for yourself whether Steve is speaking sense, or talking out of his *rse...
