Manchester United look set to miss out to Chelsea in pursuit of midfielder

Chelsea are reportedly confident of edging out Manchester United in their pursuit of Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic.

The Serbian midfielder is also attracting the attention of Paris Saint-Germain but recently signed a new three-year contract at current club Red Star Belgrade over the summer. With The Guardian now reporting that Manchester United scouts watched Grujic in action recently, it's believed that Chelsea are set to make a bid for the youngster and are 'confident' that a deal can be struck. The 19-year-old has been likened to current Chelsea midfielder and countryman, Nemanja Matic and it is expected that Chelsea would want to loan him back to Red Star for the next season in order to make the deal more appealing for his current club.
