Manchester United hero Gary Neville is trolling Wayne Rooney on Twitter

Manchester United have returned to training ahead of the new season hoping to build on last year's fourth-place finish.

After Radamel Falcao's less than stellar time at Old Trafford and Robin Van Persie's dip in goalscoring form, Manchester United fans will be hoping that Memphis Depay hits the ground running.

The former PSV striker will be looking to make himself a figure head with Van Gaal's side but there's no doubting that the captain Wayne Rooney is the man in that dressing room that other players will look up to.

It seems that Gary Neville may have a different view of things though after this photo seemed to sell Rooney's physical attributes 'a little short'.
