Not only does he possess the greatest haircut in the modern era of Premier League refereeing, Mark Clattenburg has now been given the task of refereeing this year's FA Cup Final.
The game will be played between Crystal Palace and Manchester United on May 21, a repeat of the 1990 final.
“It came out of the blue," Clattenburg told the FA's official website. "These days you get told of what games you’re doing by text, but when you see a call coming in from The FA referees’ department you know it’s important."
“You set yourself goals at the start of the season, and mine was to referee in The FA Cup Final. It’s an honour and a massive achievement," he added.
Almost immediately after the announcement was made, fans of both sides were sharing their opinions on Twitter...
