Manchester City Twitter account makes bizarre dig at Marouane Fellaini

As illustrated by some of the images tweeted out by Manchester City's official Twitter accounts, it's been a foggy start to the week in Manchester.

One of those images - tweeted by City's official French language Twitter page - showed the silhouette of one of their players during a training session, encouraging followers to try and identify who it was. (We're pretty sure it's Leroy Sané, by the way). Presumably because of the vague similarities in hairstyles, one Twitter user suggested the player in the picture was in fact Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini. In what appears to be a disparaging remark about Fellaini's ability as a footballer, the City account soon replied. When it did,  it claimed the player in the picture was in fact a footballer, insinuating Fellaini is not one. Ouch. https://twitter.com/DianaKristinne/status/942803362801766400   Manchester City briefly opened up a 14-point gap at the top of the Premier League on Saturday evening, having defeated Tottenham 4-1 at The Etihad Stadium. United, minus Fellaini, managed to close it to just 11 points on Sunday when they defeated West Brom 2-1 at the Hawthorns.
