These two definitely remember the bad times
Manchester City made a touching gesture to two of their longest-serving fans this afternoon. As the players made their way out the tunnel, they were joined by mascots, as is the norm. But two of those mascots were 98-year old Olga and her 102-year-old sister Vera, who have been supporting the club for an incredible 85 years.

They have both seen the club at its lowest troughs and its highest peaks. They will have witnessed some truly atrocious football in the third tier at Maine Road, and all three Premier League title wins at the Etihad.
This moment is the least they deserve, given their commitment to supporting the club well into their old age.

As the commentator points out, their 85-year spell as fans puts David Silva's 8-year spell at the club into context. Although, as he also pointed out, Silva has played more games and scored more goals than both of them. Obviously.
