Manchester City can seal the title against Manchester United

Having stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to 15 points at Newcastle on Wednesday, it's inevitable that Manchester City will be crowned champions in the months ahead.

Assuming they were to win their remaining 18 matches (unlikely, we know), they'd finish with a total of 97 points. City need just 13 more wins to reach 97 points. Provided there's no rescheduled games, the final match of City's next 13 Premier League fixtures is indeed the Manchester derby at The Etihad on April 7. If both teams have won all their league games from now until then, City would be crowned champions if they avoid defeat in that game.
