To save a bit of time, we thought we'd jump into the old DeLorean and fast-foward a couple of hours into the future to bring you player ratings before anyone else.

Manchester United face CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford tonight - or already have faced CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford if you're us. Here is how each player will/did perform... De Gea - 7 Another solid display from De Gea, who could do little to stop CSKA's goal. Young - 6 Some shaky moments at the back, but looked dangerous coming forward. Smalling - 8 Excellent again. A commanding display in the heart of United's defence. Blind - 7 Looked a little rusty, but excellent distribution and one majestic ball. Rojo - 7 Forceful coming forward with some dangerous crosses. Terrible haircut. Carrick - 7 A solid enough display with a couple of crucial interceptions, but visibly tired in the second-half. Schweinsteiger - 8 A commanding presence and will be pleased with his first goal for the club. Lingard - 8 One of United's bright sparks. Full of energetic running and always a nuisance. Mata - 6 Was integral in the build up to the second goal, but otherwise unusually quiet. Martial - 8 Always looked dangerous, but somewhat wasted on the wing. Again. Rooney - 7 Will be pleased with his goal, but still nowhere near his best.
