Neymar cost Barcelona an estimated €57m (£41m) from Santos in 2013, and his value has only increased since then.
With Pedro having joined Chelsea, one would imagine the Spanish club are unlikely to be too keen to part with another member of their world-class attack, but a big-money bid from the Premier League giants could sway them.
United have £44.3m burning a hole in their pocket after the sale of Angel Di Maria, so I guess we should be asking “why not”?
