Manchester United are reportedly 'in talks' with an Erik ten Hag replacement, after he was sacked this morning.
Following a poor start to the season, United were further wounded by a late defeat at West Ham United on Sunday.
Not only are the club winless in Europe still, they now sit 14th in the Premier League.
With four defeats from nine, many fans are wanting huge improvement, and now they are in talks with a new boss.
And according to reliable Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Sport, Xavi could be the man to succeed Ten Hag.
It is understood that discussions are 'taking place' between CEO Omar Berrada and Xavi, who is a 'concrete lead' to be a replacement.
There is a possibility of an arrival in the coming weeks.
The Catalan has expressed his desire to be assisted by highly reputably former United players too, because he cannot 'solve the problem alone'.
A photo of Xavi's son in a Manchester United shirt went viral this weekend, after his wife publicly posted it on her Instagram story.
