According to a report in the Mirror, Guardiola is set to be offered a staggering deal to stay at the Allianz Arena which would see him take home £17m per year.
With the report claiming that Roman Abramovichis interested in landing the ex-Barcelona manager, it's believed that Bayern have brought forward contract discussions in a bid to fend off interest from Chelsea.
There is a potential stumbling block in the talks, however, with Bayern wanting Guardiola to commit to a two year deal.
Guardiola, well aware that a one year deal would keep his options open, does not appear as keen.
