Amidst the excitement, some of you were quick to point out that the bout takes place on the same day as another huge fight.
The likes of Josh left messages such as this one on the SportsJOE Facebook page, pointing out that Fury vs McGregor takes place on the same date as Conor McGregor’s rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 200.
But that’s not all that lies in store for sports on that particular weekend… Not by a long way.
On Sunday 10, football fans can also get their final fix of Euro 2016, with the competition’s final being contested over in Paris.
And if all this isn’t enough, it’s also the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Tour De France, the European Championships in Amsterdam *and* the Wimbledon singles finals.
