Footage of Christian Eriksen's collapse shocked the world, with everyone concerned about the Denmark player's health. It has since been confirmed that Eriksen is in a stable condition. Romelu Lukaku, a teammate of Eriksen's at Inter Milan, has since paid tribute to his colleague.

Though the cause of his collapse has not yet been revealed, CPR was administered on sight before being rushed to the hospital.
Post-game, Lukaku spoke to IN sports about the incident and had the following to say:
"I'm really happy with the win but for me it was difficult to play because my mind was with my teammate, Christian.
"I hope he is healthy and I dedicate this performance to him.'
Having played together since January 2020, Lukaku and Eriksen have clearly formed a strong bond.
"I cried a lot because I was scared, obviously. We lived strong moments together for a year and a half. I spent more time with him than with my family', Lukaku added.
"My thoughts are with him, his girlfriend, his two kids and his family," he concludes.
