Louis van Gaal set to lock horns with Jurgen Klopp for transfer target

He's not even been in the job for a week, yet plenty is being written about Jurgen Klopp's potential transfer targets.

After dismissing a raid on former club Borussia Dortmund, it's been suggested that the German is eyeing a move for Napoli's Jorginho. According to the Daily Express, Klopp is an admirer of the 23-year-old Italian and is considering bringing him to Anfield. To complicate matters, the same paper speculates that Manchester United are also keeping an eye on the player, who is thought to have impressed Louis van Gaal's scouts throughout last season. It's claimed that the United boss has been monitoring the Brazilian-born midfielder since he signed Matteo Darmian from Italian club Torino.
