Louis van Gaal has just let another Man United striker go out on loan

Manchester United are not exactly bristling with an arsenal of attacking options.

And they're not exactly a team over-flowing with goals at the moment either. United recorded yet another 0-0 draw in the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven - that's the fifth time they have drawn a blank since the start of last month. But despite getting rid of Robin van Persie, Javier Hernandez and loaning Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund, Louis van Gaal has sent another one of his attacking stars out on loan. It was only last week that he was drafted into the first team for the Watford game after United were struggling with injuries, but promising young striker James Wilson has been allowed to join Championship table-toppers Brighton on a season-long loan. The Seagulls have an injury to frontman Sam Baldock but still remain unbeaten in the league, standing joint top of the league with Hull. Brighton boss Chris Hughton said: "James is an exciting young striker, and we hope that this move will prove very good for all parties involved. "He is very highly thought of at Old Trafford and he has been in and around the first-team picture at Manchester United since Ryan Giggs gave him his debut the season before last. "There was a huge amount of competition from rival clubs to sign James on loan and it has been another great team effort to secure his signature."
