It was all going so well.

Jurgen Klopp had brought optimism back to Liverpool. The rudderless ship finally had a captain worthy of its great tradition. Ahead of schedule, the German had delivered a cup final, European progress and a late bid for Champions League football next season. But that was until Liverpool Football Club decided to ruin it all with their spectacularly bad merchandise. We thought the 'Normal One' t-shirts were bad enough, but oh no, the official club shop had to stoop even further below the levels of acceptable 'banter'. Remember that 'This is Bill/Be like Bill' craze from a month or so ago? The one that only lasted about a fortnight, until everyone realised it was incredibly sad and annoying?
