Liverpool could become the first Premier League side to have a cryptocurrency firm as a shirt sponsor from as early as 2024.
The Reds' current £40m-a-year deal with Standard Chartered expires in May 2023 and Liverpool are keen to find a new deal if they cannot agree to extend their partnership.

Although several top-flight clubs have signed deals with cryptocurrency firms in the past year, no side has ever featured one as their main shirt sponsor.
The move is likely to be controversial given the environment concerns surrounding the blockchain. The sector isn't regulated and given that cryptocurrency can be bought and exchanged for financial gains or losses, can be seen as a risk to fans.
If an agreement is reached, it is believed that it would bring in more than £70m across two seasons, however fans have reportedly not been consulted.
