Sadio Mane is such a pivotal player for Jurgen Klopp's men for a plethora of reasons. He acts as the talisman and the focal point to their attack. He strikes fear into the opposition defence, and stops them from playing a high line. On Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp explained that the club were still waiting for swelling on the knee to reduce in order for a scan to be carried out. Now it transpires that the player will not play again this season, and will require surgery on his knee for ligament damage.
