It paid off. Under Craig Shakespeare, the club managed to turn things around, securing their top flight status and even reaching a Champions League quarter final. With thoughts already turning to next season for many of those connected with the dethroned champions, they were given a reminder on Thursday evening of just how far they had fallen from the Premier League's top clubs. Tottenham, already guaranteed a second place finish behind Chelsea, hammered them 6-1, Harry Kane filling his boots with four goals. A matter of hours after being handed such a beating, Leicester unveiled their new home kit for 2017/19.
