Leeds United channel f**k up results in the most Yorkshire reaction ever

Simon Lloyd

We all love television fuck ups

Television is a slick affair. Those behind the scenes and in front of the cameras prepare and rehearse for hours on end to produce a product as close to perfection as humanly possible.

For the most part, they are surprisingly close to achieving this. Sure, there are a few hiccups here and there and the occasional look or laugh that goes on too long, but it works out in the end.

Sometimes though it all goes to shit; whether it’s because your former Rangers and Liverpool midfielder pundit doesn’t like the way the show’s host is looking at him, or because a reporter who’s just trying to do his job has a sex toy stuck into his ear, things sometimes go by the wayside.

Unfortunately for the good people at Leeds United TV, that is exactly what happened to them during a broadcast of them analysing their recent victory over West Brom Albion on March 1.

Their two analysts were using a touch screen, similar to those which are commonly used on Monday Night Football and BT Sport, before the monitor decided to simply stop playing ball with them.

The initial mistake on the screen is greeted with a lovely “ahhh, bollocks” and a “fuck off” from the pundits, followed by a “fuck sake”, and at this point we assume they didn’t realise this piece of footage was making it to air.

Look, we could attempt to explain it further but honestly, just go watch it. You’re welcome.
