Darren Till misses weight for UFC Liverpool after family emergency delays his weigh-in

There was more confusion and drama than usual at the early weigh-ins for UFC Liverpool.

Every fighter bar one arrived in the two-hour window for early weigh-ins, as headliner Darren Till failed to show up to the scales. 11am came and went with no sign of Till but a UFC official then announced that, due to a family emergency, Till had been given an extra hour to make weight. The 25-year-old emerged from behind the curtain at 11.20am but failed to make weight, coming in at 174.5lbs.
