Monaco were undoubtedly one of the most exciting clubs in Europe last season.

As well as reaching the Champions League semi-finals, they ended Paris Saint-Germain’s four-year Ligue 1 dominance by claiming their first French league crown in nearly two decades.

Although they’ve started the defence of that title with four wins out four, it’s fair to say there’s been plenty of changes to their squad since the end of last season. Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko have all made their Premier League debuts, with fresh reports claiming Thomas Lemar could also be on the cusp of a move to England.

There’s also the small matter of Kylian Mbappe – the jewel in the Monaco crown – who also appears to be inching towards the exit door.

After strong speculation linking the 18-year-old striker with a move to Real Madrid earlier in the summer, it now seems a deal taking the French international to PSG appears to be imminent.

How do we know this? Well, thanks to a couple of leaked images of Monaco’s latest unveiling, that’s how. Stevan Jovetic, the former Manchester City striker, is set to be the man to replace Mbappe in Monte Carlo and images have now surfaced with him wearing the club’s shirt.

Just incase this alone isn’t enough to convince anyone that Mbappe is on his way, they also show that Jovetic will wear Monaco’s number ten shirt – the one worn by the man he is thought to be replacing. Oops.
