The Frenchman looked destined to sign for Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, which will see him remain at the club for a further two years.

The Frenchman, whose contract is set to expire in the summer, looked destined to join LaLiga giants at the end of the season, but it appears as though he will remain at Le Parc des Princes.

However, as reported by Le Parisien, the frontman and PSG have agreed in principle to a two-year contract extension with an option for an additional year.

The report adds that Mbappe’s representatives – as well as his parents who manage his interests – have accepted president Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s offer and have given their agreement in principle.

Mbappe will reportedly earn €50m net a year, as well as a signing-on bonus of €100m.

The 23-year-old has scored 167 goals and registered 84 assists in 214 appearances for the Parisians.
