Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Kylian Mbappe control of sporting operations at the club in a desperate attempt to keep him in France. The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, with reports suggesting that he is close to officially confirming a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. However, with just six weeks until the Frenchman becomes a free agent, the Ligue 1 champions are believed to have made the striker a sensational offer in an attempt to stop him departing from Le Parc des Princes.

Mbappe 'expected' to make Madrid announcement soon

Newspapers in Spain have claimed that Mbappe will make an official announcement about his expected move to Madrid after Carlo Ancelotti's side have played Liverpool in the Champions League final on May 28.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a successful season in Paris, helping the club to regain the league title while scoring 25 goals and providing 17 assists - topping the charts for both statistics.
