Klopp clarifies his position on Gerrard’s return to Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has been asked about the possibility of Steven Gerrard making a sensational return to Liverpool colours - and his response was positive...with caveats.

The Independent claim there have already been discussions between former hero and new manager, and Klopp has confirmed those conservations, explaining that the player is always welcome to return to his spiritual home... https://twitter.com/DominicKing_DM/status/661966637810237440 However, the former Borussia Dortmund boss seemed to rule out the possibility of Gerrard resuming his playing career at Liverpool, clarifying that any return would be for purposes of maintaining fitness levels and nothing more... https://twitter.com/DominicKing_DM/status/661966809512460297 He was also asked about his famous quote when he said of Arsene Wenger:

“He likes having the ball, playing football, passes. It’s like an orchestra. But it’s a silent song. But I like heavy metal more. I always want it loud.”

His response was classic Klopp... https://twitter.com/DominicKing_DM/status/661968330140598273
