Jamie Vardy’s start to the season will inevitably lead to speculation about his future, but perhaps nobody expected this.

The Leicester City striker has amassed ten goals from ten games already this season and has also earned his first England caps.

With ESPN claiming that Vardy is already interesting new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, one of the Anfield club’s former managers is also reportedly keeping tabs.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Rafa Benitez wants to make Vardy a Real Madrid player.

Vardy is thought be the ideal man to provide back-up for Karim Benzema, and will also help fill the void left by Alvaro Morata, who departed the year before last.

It remains to be seen whether the man that started out at Stocksbridge Park Steels could really end up at the Bernabeu. If he does, Leicester will be asking for a considerable fee for someone who has been a significant factor in the club’s exceptional start to the season.
