Chelsea's deadline day signing, Papy Djilobodji has been left out of his new club's Champions League squad, barely 24 hours after arriving at Stamford Bridge from Nantes. https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC/status/638724761296760832 Having splashed out £3m on the defender, Jose Mourinho was forced into the decision due to a lack of 'locally trained players' in the Chelsea ranks. UEFA stated that a minimum of eight were required, forcing a rethink for the Chelsea boss. The Senegalese international, brought in after Chelsea failed in their attempts to bring in Everton's John Stones, will now have to watch on as new teammates such as Bertrand Traore and Kenedy make the cut instead of him.
