Jose Mourinho drops rather obvious hint on his next club

He will not retire at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho doesn’t exactly have a great reputation for long-term stays at clubs.

Mourinho has never been in a job longer for longer than 39 months and while he’s previously indicated a desire to remain Manchester United boss for as long as 15 years, he’s now admitted that he will not retire at Old Trafford.

The 54-year-old is enjoying an impressive start to his sophomore season as Red Devils boss but Mourinho will not be content to see out his career at his current club as he’s admitted that there are certain goals he still wants to accomplish elsewhere.

“The only thing I can say is that I am still a coach with worries, ambitions, desires to do new things,” Mourinho told Telefoot.

“I’m sure I will not finish my career in Manchester.”

Having already won league titles in England, Italy, Spain and Portugal; Mourinho has dropped a hint that he would be eager on managing Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 before he calls time on his managerial career.

“The other day my son decided to go and watch a match in Paris rather than Manchester,” he added.

“Why Paris? Because right now Paris has something special.

“There’s a magic about the place, youth and quality. It’s fantastic.”
