Colombia's star player James Rodriguez was left out of their starting line up and forced to watch the game from the sidelines after he picked up a calf injury in his country's final group game against Senegal.
After his team lost James was understandably upset.
And while the England players celebrated their victory, a post-game moment was caught on camera that encapsulates the spirit of the World Cup, with Jordan Henderson touching the Real Madrid midfielder on the cheek, consoling him for the loss.
