Louis van Gaal is lining up a £25m bid for in-form Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

The 24-year-old star is in a rich vein of form under new boss Tim Sherwood at Villa Park with nine goals in his last eight games.

Spurs want Everton’s Belgian star

Tottenham Hotspur are targeting Everton’s Belgian midfielder Kevin Mirallas.

The London club want the 27-year-old and are ready to let winger Aaron Lennon make his loan switch on Merseyside permanent as part of the deal, the Sunday People report.

Spurs are also eyeing up a £10.8m swoop for three Marseille players: winger Andre Ayew, striker Andre-Pierre Gignac and winger Florian Thauvin, report Mercato.
