Jesse Lingard has been criticised by his manager who claimed he "didn't work hard" when he came on a substitute.
Lingard has come off the bench in all three of his appearances for new club FC Seoul and they finally picked up their first win of the season with a 2-0 win against Jeju.
But although the 31-year-old was introduced off the bench to make an impact, Seoul boss Kim Gi-dong wasn't impressed with his display.
"Even though he came on as a substitute, he didn't work hard and avoided tussle," he said.
"The name value has no meaning on the pitch. I will tell him this exactly."
Despite his shaky start, Lingard has still made waves across South Korea after becoming the league's marquee signing.
At his home debut last week, a record attendance of 51,670 fans inside the Seoul World Cup Stadium for the Gyeongin Derby against Incheon United.
His club even set up a designated “Lingard Zone” so that fans could go and buy merchandise specifically related to the former Manchester United man.
Some fans had even queued up for as long as two hours to get their hands on Lingard merch.
Given his lack of game time in recent months, Lingard is still getting back up to match speed.
The midfielder had been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season but having had three games from the bench, will be hoping he can fight his way into the starting XI and make the impact many are expecting him to have in South Korea.
