Jamie Carragher agrees to very unexpected inclusion in Fantasy Football team

Water under the bridge

Mentalist Katherine Mills absolutely nailed this one.

In the latest in a series for Sky Sports, Mills wowed pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville by correctly predicting the Fantasy Football XI that they would select for the coming season.

Some of the selections were more easy to predict than others; with David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Harry Kane bound to be very popular among Fantasy Football players.

But Mills outdid herself with one pick as she somehow managed to foresee that Carragher would name his social media rival, Danny Simpson, in defence.

At the beginning of March, one of the most unlikely wars of words took place on Twitter between Leicester’s Simpson and the Liverpool legend.

Carragher had just criticised the Foxes players for performing out of their skin after much-beloved manager Claudio Ranieri had been sacked by the club.

From there, an increasingly vicious back-and-forth between Carragher and Simpson took place before both men apologised once, according to the former, “a line was crossed”.

And the water looks to be very much under the bridge as Carragher agreed to include Simpson in the Fantasy Football team which he opted to name Carradonna.

It’s safe to say that both Carragher and Neville were blown away by the predictions.
