YouTuber Jake Paul has revealed how much he expects to earn from his upcoming fight with Anthony Joshua.
Rumours of a clash between former world heavyweight champion Joshua and Jake Paul have been circling since last week, and were finally officially confirmed on Monday (17 November).
While Paul has begun to build a reputation for himself after a number of successful bouts, including a recent win over Mike Tyson, the Joshua fight would be by far the biggest moment of his boxing career.
The situation is vastly different for Joshua.
The 36-year-old was once viewed as one of the best boxing talents in the world, but after losing his belts to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021, and a shock defeat to Daniel Dubois 14-months ago, Joshua has significantly fallen from grace.
Regardless of Paul’s status, the fight is expected to be of monumental scale in terms of finances.
In response to speculation on the amount of investment involved in bringing Joshua back into the ring, Jake Paul has today taken to social media to provide an indication on the amount of money he expects to earn from the fight.
Taking to Twitter/X, the 28-year-old said: "Stop asking me.
"$267 Million."
The figure works out at just shy of £200 million.
Paul's claim is yet to be fully backed up by streaming giants Netflix, where the fight will be broadcast, and it is currently unclear whether the figure is all set to be earned by Paul or whether it will be split with his competitor.
The fight has come about as a result of Paul’s initial opponent Gervonta Davis pulling out of a proposed fight at the last minute.
Miami in the USA is the location of the bout.
