ITV’s Euro 2016 intro really divided opinion

Without fail, the intros used by the BBC and ITV when covering major sporting events always seem to be talking points.

Take ITV’s offering a couple of summers ago, for example. We struggled for months to get this out of our heads…

With France’s opener with Romania fast approaching, ITV debuted their latest fancy intro.

Starring animated versions of Paul Pogba, Robert Lewandowski, Gareth Bale and more, the opening titles certainly divided opinion on Twitter.

Harsh? Well, not everyone was quite so negative about it. Many other viewers were quite impressed.
