Firmino scored 47 goals in 151 appearances during a four and a half year spell at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and scored his fourth goal in nine games for Brazil in their victory over Venezuela on Sunday.
Although a fee hasn't officially been disclosed, it is thought that Firmino will cost Liverpool in the region of £29 million.
He becomes the club's fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Joe Gomez, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings and James Milner, and it's certainly cause for excitement.
