It would appear that Lucas Leiva is no longer Liverpool's current longest serving player.

Jordan Henderson is set to take that honour as Leiva's transfer to Lazio seems to have been confirmed. Leiva, who joined the Reds from Gremio for a fee of £5 million in 2007, had been linked with a move to Italy throughout the summer and was pictured getting off a flight in Lazio with a club scarf in his hands. https://twitter.com/OfficialSSLazio/status/886688385036845057 Lazio's official Twitter account seemed to welcome the Brazilian midfielder, who made 31 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side last season. He will join Lazio for £5 million and due to his loyal service to the Anfield club over the past decade, supporters have nothing but kind words for the 30-year-old as he moves on to the next part of his career.
