Injury means Neymar could not be fit for World Cup

Brazil's talisman player faces a battle to get fit for the World Cup after sustaining an injury on his foot. It now looks like he will be out of action of three months after an operation, the Mirror reports, meaning it is touch and go whether he will be at full fitness in Russia. The news comes after the PSG forward had to be stretchered off in his team's win against Marseille last weekend after he sprained his ankle and fractured his metatarsal. The injury left him in tears, presumably as he realised it could throw his World Cup chances into doubt.
