South Korea have reached the semi-finals of the Asia Games
Heung-min Son is only two wins away from attaining exemption from serving in the South Korean army.
South Korean men are expected to carry out a mandatory two year spell in the military, which the Spurs winger has not yet done, and he could soon be granted exemption if he wins the Asia Games.
A gold medal from either the Asia Games or the Olympics is required to get out of doing military service.
South Korea beat Uzbekistan 4-3 in dramatic circumstances to reach the semi-finals, winning 4-3 in extra time via a penalty that Son couldn't bring himself to watch.
