Heung-min Son is only two wins away from attaining exemption from serving in the South Korean army. South Korean men are expected to carry out a mandatory two year spell in the military, which the Spurs winger has not yet done, and he could soon be granted exemption if he wins the Asia Games. A gold medal from either the Asia Games or the Olympics is required to get out of doing military service.
