Here’s the Manchester United to team to face Celta Vigo

Paul Moore

Squeaky bum time for Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United’s bid to reach next season’s Champions League suffered a blow following their recent 1-1 draw with Swansea, so the focus switches to the Europa League and a crunch semi-final first leg in Spain.

Be under no allusions, Celta Vigo are a very accomplished side that have beaten Barcelona, Shakhtar Donetsk, Panathinaikos and Valencia this season – they also held Real Madrid to a draw in the Copa Del Rey.

Yet again, Sergio Romero fills in for David De Gea on Europa League duty.

Despite limping out of Sunday’s draw with Swansea City, United fans will be pleased to see Eric Bailly’s name on the teamsheet. He’s alongside Valencia, Blind and Darmian in United’s back-four.

In midfield, Herrera and Fellaini are expected to screen the defence as Paul Pogba also returns from muscle fatigue.

With five goals in eight Europa League games already, we’re certain that plenty of people have tipped Henrikh Mkhitaryan to get on the scoresheet tonight, the Armenian carries United’s threat alongside Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.

It’s a strong United bench with Mata, Rooney, Martial, Young, Smalling and Carrick all avaialble.

The Spaniards currently lie 11th in La Liga having lost their last three domestic matches and while they are unbeaten in their last five European matches (W4 D1), they have kept just one clean sheet in six Europa League home games this season.
