Forget the latter stages of Euro 2016, never mind the rapidly approaching new season – it’s that time of year when we start to learn more and more about the next instalment of FIFA.

Already, we’ve told you how excited we are about taking charge of Alex Hunter – star of the latest addition to the FIFA franchise, known as “The Journey” – and now it’s time to decide who will be on the front of the new game’s cover.

FIFA 17 is slated for a September release, and voting has now opened to decide on who will be its cover star.

EA SPORTS have announced that there are four options this year – Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund. Check out the new trailer below…

To have your say, you’ll be able to vote once per day on the official FIFA Cover Vote Website. Voting closed just before 8am on July 20.

Fans can also show their support by Tweeting each player’s hashtag (#FIFA17Hazard, #FIFA17James, #FIFA17Martial or #FIFA17Reus) and the winner will will be revealed on the official FIFA Cover Vote website later in July.
