Harry Redknapp didn’t exactly hold back in his scathing analysis of Liverpool this season.

Speaking on BT Sport as a pundit for Liverpool’s game with Bordeaux, the ex-QPR manager described the current side as Liverpool’s ‘worst team for years’.

He pointed to Steven Gerrard and other players leaving, and being replaced with inferior recruits…

Redknapp also claimed that Liverpool were actually ‘lucky’ to be sitting in lowly 10th place in the Premier League.

He went on to list a number of games in which Brendan Rodgers’ men had experienced good fortune to collect more points than they deserved…

Is he after the job we wonder?
