<strong>Graham Potter rejects Premier League offer less than 24 hours after Chelsea sacking</strong>

Potter was relieved of his duties on Sunday after they were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa on Saturday and leaves the west London side 11th in the Premier League after only joining them in September.

Despite his early dismissal, Potter had been offered the chance to return to the touchline instantly by Leicester City, as reported by TalkSPORT, who are also looking for a new manager.

Brendan Rodgers agreed to depart the Foxes by mutual consent after four years in charge at the King Power Stadium following their defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday to leave them in the bottom three.

The former Brighton boss, 47, is held in high regard by Leicester and has been of interest to them before but Potter opted to turn down their advances as he prepares to take a break from the game.

Long-serving coaches Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler are set to take charge of the Foxes' game against Aston Villa on Tuesday while Bruno Saltor is temporarily in charge of Chelsea until the end of the season.
