Graham Potter is 'closing in' on a return to the Premier League, as per a breaking report from Sky Sports.
The former Chelsea boss left Stamford Bridge in 2023 and is soon to make an eagerly-awaited return to management.
As per Rob Dorsett of Sky, West Ham United are closing in on the appointment of Potter as the new head coach.
Further talks have been 'positive', with 'one or two contractual bits to sort'.
It is understood that he could be in the dugout as soon as Friday, for the game versus Aston Villa.
Everton haven't progressed their negotiations with the highly reputable gaffer.
The Irons currently sit 14th in the table following an underwhelming start to life under Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui, appointed in the summer to succeed David Moyes, is understood to be succeeded by Potter shortly.
