With the ball bouncing about pin ball-style between Man United and Wolfsburg players on the edge of the Germans' box, it eventually found its way to Juan Mata. In a moment of brilliantly audacity, the Spaniard contorted his body to somehow flick the ball into the six-yard box, where Chris Smalling tucked away the chance with a neat finish.
