Gary Lineker has developed a reputation as one of the most polished and accomplished sport presenters, but even the best come unstuck every now and again.
During BT Sport’s coverage of CSKA Moscow v Manchester United, Gary was looking for a line to get viewers excited about the second half to come after the ad break.
But he got a bit stuck for words when contemplating what changes Louis van Gaal might make.

In fairness to Gary, it was that boring a game that it was pretty hard to feign excitement about what was to come; besides, it’s hardly the worst mistake that a football commentator made this week.
